John Joseph Revnik Jr.

Obituary:

John J. Revnik, age 83, formerly of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2000, at his home in McAllen, TX, following a sudden illness. John was born July 2, 1916, in Canton. He was the son of the late John and Tekla (Hoffmann) Revnik. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post #44, and the DAV's Chapter #95 in McAllen, TX. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired carpenter from Carpenter's Local #69 in Canton. John leaves behind his loving wife, Dolores (Zwick) of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Carl Schwitzgebel of North Canton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Revnik and two brothers, Alexander and Stephen Revnik. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 12 p.m. in St.
Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. (Paquelet-Falk, 875-2811)
