Obituary:
John J. Revnik, age 83, formerly of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April20, 2000, at his home in McAllen, TX, following a sudden illness. John wasborn July 2, 1916, in Canton. He was the son of the late John and Tekla (Hoffmann)Revnik. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the AmericanLegion Post #44, and the DAV's Chapter #95 in McAllen, TX. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired carpenter from Carpenter's Local #69in Canton. John leaves behind his loving wife, Dolores (Zwick) of the home; asister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Carl Schwitzgebel of North Canton;and numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews. He is preceded indeath by a sister, Margaret Revnik and two brothers, Alexander and StephenRevnik. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 12 p.m. in St.
Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in thechurch cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at the Paquelet-Falk FuneralHome in Louisville. (Paquelet-Falk, 875-2811)
