Francis Thomas Gulling

Obituary:
Francis T. Gulling, age 74 of Louisville, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Tuesday April 11, 2000 in Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness. Francis was born August 24, 1925 in Maximo and was the son of the late, Harry R. and Marie (Lozier) Gulling. He was a retired school teacher from the Plain Local School District. Francis was a Veteran of World War II, serving the9th Bomber Group, 1st Squadron Left Gunner. He was a member of AARP, the Knights of Columbus, Arion Singing Society and North Canton Eagles. Francis was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Francis leaves behind his wife, Ruth (Samblanet) Gulling of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jim Rechner of Canton; two sons, Mark Gulling of Canton and Steve Gulling of Louisville; two sisters, Barbara Carroll of Stillwater, OK and Carol Shepherd of Louisville; two brothers, Louie Gulling of Florida and Ed Gulling of Maximo; four grandchildren, Jessica, Eric, Austin, and Kristin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Julia (Aowad) Gulling; a sister, Joanne Toussant; and two brothers, James and Joseph Gulling. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in Canton. Friends may call Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Care Center, 2308 Reno Drive, Louisville, Ohio 44641.
